The best thing about West Brom is em, well honestly West Brom isn’t renowned for anything. It’s just part of the Black Country. Being close to Birmingham doesn’t even do much for it!
the second most common answer was about the local beer. (Best’s ?) West Bromwich was, at the time, one of the leading towns in the UK for people out of work due to long term illness or disability. Are the two connected?
That’s mean of course.
Nice to see my photo being put to good use!
The best thing about West Brom is the Wheatsheaf pub on Carters Green.
The town hasn’t got a great reputation but is currently undergoing a sizeable regeneration. It’s worked for Walsall down the road so hopefully it will raise the profile of West Brom as well.
